Rosy Whirl
This top down crochet shawl has a wingspan of 147 cm and a depth of 81 cm - that’s 58 x 32” - and it uses one 220g ball of Scheepjes Whirl. The colour I chose is called Rosewater Cocktail but there are lots of over lovely shades to choose from.
There are four pattern rows to the main part of the shawl, mostly consisting of simple stitches and notes are included on counting tricks so that you don’t have to count hundreds of stitches as your shawl gets bigger.
The shawl is finished off with a simple, two row shell border and that blend of cotton and acrylic makes it a lovely, soft fabric to wear.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff
