Rostyn Hex
Dedication
This is named for my grandfather, Rostyn Alouis, who passed away when I was 7.
Description
This is a hexagon ripple pattern. It is designed to repeat, so you can continue the repeating pattern until the desired size is achieved.
This pattern is for beginner to intermediate crocheters.
Written instructions are provided, as well as a chart. Any yarn can be used for this blanket, as long as you use the hook recommended for the yarn.
Yarn:
I recommend a 4 to 6 ply yarn. The amount required will depend on the size you decide to make your project.
My work used 2100 m of 80/20 SW merino / nylon Australian sock yarn from Changeling Coloured Yarns. It is a 60 shade gradient called Blackberry.
Hook: 5.0 mm
