The Rose Cowl Scarf is designed by Valerie Baber of Valerie Baber Designs just for you to warm your day with elegance and style. Made with a worsted weight merino wool for a cozy warm touch to your wardrobe. Make it with or without the roses.

Make this design with the roses in a different colour with leaves in green as well as the solid colour shown or without the roses to make a more contemporary cowl. A very versatile pattern.

Finished Measurements:
Finished measurements with trim: 20 inches, 50.8 cm long by 11 inches, 28 cm high.

Tension: My tension was 4 dc wide in an inch and 2 rows of dc in height equaled 1 inch.

Yarn: Takes 1 skein of Worsted weight yarn. Shown in Sweetgeorgia Yarns 100% superwash worsted merino wool, 200 yards / 182 m per 4 oz / 115g skein, US 7-8 (4.5-5.0 mm) | 4.5-5 sts/1″. Birch colour way with the roses. This is a heavy worsted weight, you can use most worsted weight yarns for this design just make sure you check your tension if before starting especially if you are using a different yarn. Makes changes at your end if necessary.

Crochet Hook:
I used a H (5 mm) hook for the worsted weight yarn. You may need to use one size up or down depending on your tension.

Other supplies: Yarn needle to sew in ends.

Pattern Essentials: (This scarf uses almost all of the skein of yarn so make sure you do not waste any).
