River Inny Wrap
The inspiration for this wrap and its lace pattern came from the River Inny. It’s a small river that links up with the Tamar in North Cornwall and ran through the farm I grew up on. Shallow enough to walk through with welly boots in the summer and high enough to burst its banks into the surrounding fields in the winter. I had many an afternoon splashing around with our dogs. The wrap is a simple rectangle worked flat with a repeat pattern that diminishes as you go.
It is both charted and written in full.

Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply) approximately 900 meters / 980 yards. I have used West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK in True Blue which is a 100g ball having 225 meters / 245 yards so 4 balls with a little left over
Needles: 4mm (US 6) straight
Six moveable stitch markers, tapestry needle
