Ripples on the Clyde
Ripples on the Clyde is designed for Glasgow 2024 Worldcon and is inspired by the Armadillo convention centre and the River Clyde running past it and through Glasgow.
It can be knit using a single colour in any weight yarn, or 2 different colours, the sample is knit using 2x 100g of DK for a total of 490m. An additional reverse and main pattern section is added beyond what is written, following the instructions on how to keep expanding the pattern to continue until you are satisfied with length and width.

Variable length depending on yarn choices.

Yarn
400m/100g of 4ply or 2x 200m/50g of 4ply or 2x 240m/100g of DK or 4x 166m/100g of Aran, etc

Third Vault Yarns Hardy DK x 2 245m/100g Sw Merino nylon 80/20% in Skein Dubh & Alba Aether
Needles
(4ply version) 4mm/ US6 circular needle 40 -100cm long
(DK version) 4.5mm/ US 7 circular needle, 40 -100cm long
Gauge
Gauge is not essential to this project, however length and width to yarn consumption will affect the final size.
(4ply version) 22-24sts to 10cm/4” in stockinette
(DK version) 19-20 sts to 10cm/4” in stockinette.
