Reciprocal Rib Hat
The Reciprocal Rib Hat is a ribbed hat with a twist! I love ribbed hats for the snug fit and cabled hats for the wow factor - the Reciprocal Rib Hat offers the best of both worlds and makes it possible to flip the brim to protect those ears, or the whole hat, without worry about the wrong side of cables showing.
This pattern includes both charted and written instructions.
GAUGE
32 stitches and 36 rounds to 4 inches / 10 cm in rib and cable stitch pattern blocked, unstretched
SIZE
Newborn, (Child, Adult Small, Adult Medium/ Large)
Sample shown is the Adult Small, Slouchy length.
SIZING NOTES
When choosing which size hat to knit, take into account that the rib design of this hat means its stretchy and hats tend to fit best with about 2 inches / 5 cm of negative ease.
