Interpretations Vol. 6 is another magical and heartfelt collaboration between Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki. Like each Volume before, the 6th Volume includes six themes, six words with two designs inspired by each word, showing a personal take on each of these themes.
This year the photo shoot was set in charming Barcelona and we had the honor to have Jonna Hietala taking all the pictures for this book.

Sometimes, when I start a new knitting project I am very aware of how long it will take, how much effort. I try to be efficient and to make them as quick as possible.
Other times (and these are the times when I have the most fun), I let my needles take me to unexpected places. I don’t care how long or how little these projects will take me… or even how they will look when finished.
When this happens, it feels like a crazy love affair, like rapture. Always waiting for the unexpected. That’s how this beautiful vest was born. It started as something small, minimal, and it turned into this glorious garment that will instantly elevate any outfit.

Sizes
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL). Shown in size M on a 36” bust.
To fit an upper bust size: 28/30 (32/34, 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, 48/50, 52/54, 56/58)” 75/80 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135, 145/150) cm.

Materials
Yarn: 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of On Stage by Nature’s Luxury (50% Merino, 30% Silk, 20% Camel; 328 yds 300 m). Approx. 1410 (1540, 1640, 1740, 1870, 1970, 2070, 2200) yds 1290 (1410, 1500, 1590, 1710, 1800, 1890, 2010) m of sport weight yarn. The sample was knit in colorway Besoin de Personne.
Needles: US 4 3.5 mm and US 2½ 3 mm circular needles.

Gauge
22 sts and 34 rows = 4” 10 cm in St st on US 4 3.5 mm needles.
