Rare Bird Shawl
You’re as rare as they come – one of a kind! Celebrate your uniqueness with a pattern that’s as one-of-a-kind as you are. Worked from the top down, this half-pi shawl features both a simple lace pattern and a slightly more complex cabled pattern to beautifully evoke a bird’s plumage. It looks radiant in a gradient yarn, and the DK yarn creates a shawl that’s both quick to knit and wonderfully cozy…and to really add to the cozy factor, the neck of the shawl folds over for a little extra warmth on crisp days!
Each stitch pattern is presented in both charted and written formats. While none of the stitch patterns are very complicated, they do include a few unusual stitches to keep things interesting (which are explained in the pattern’s stitch glossary). And to keep things stress-free, increases only occur on a total of 7 rows - no need to worry about working increases while you’re working a stitch pattern!
