You can interpret the stars in the lace patterning as Christmas motifs, but also night sky constellations or simply geometric diamonds. Try using 2 neutral colours for the garter stitch sections, and a bright pop for the middle stripes and stars, or simply use 3 colours together that you love!

Lichen and Lace 1ply Superwash Merino Fingering (100% superwash Merino; 366m {400yds}/100g)

1 skein Colour A: Pewter (light grey)
1 skein Colour B: Soot (dark grey)
1 skein Colour C: Citron (yellow)

Or 3x100g skeins of fingering weight yarn. Sample used approximately:
300m (328yds)/82g of Colour A,
278m (304yds)/76g of Colour B and
340m (372yds)/93g of Colour C.

GAUGE
22 stitches x 45.5 rows = 10cm (4”) in garter stitch, knit flat and relaxed after blocking.
