Fit for a queen, quatrefoil was a popular Gothic and Renaissance decorative shape that featured a four-sided symmetrical frame. My seamless cowl has faux cables created with increases and decreases. A royally decorative bobble decorates the center of each four-sided frame.

Materials
175, (195)—yards aran weight yarn.
We used Ella Rae Lace Merino Chunky (121yds/100G, 100% Merino) Color 502 for the larger cowl: 2 skeins
and Juniper Moon Moonshine (197 yds/100G, 40% Alpaca, 40% Wool, 20% Silk) Color 25 Iced Coffee for the smaller cowl: 1 skein
- US Size 8 (5mm) and 9 (5.5mm) 24” (60.96 cm) circular knitting needle
- cable needle or 1 dpn in any size between US Size 7 (4.5mm) and 10 (6mm)
- 1 stitch marker
- tapestry needle
Gauge
17 sts, 24 rnds = 4” in stockinette stitch in the round and Quatrefoil Stitch on US Size 9 (5.5mm) knitting needle after blocking. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
