Knitting pattern for Puk Christmas Sweater

The Puk Christmas sweater is designed in our soft and sustainable Önling No 2. This year we have designed a sweater which will look great for Christmas, but can still be used all year round, because like the pine trees, this sweater is a classic beauty. Fun to knit with gitter ‘stars and balls’, which can be omitted if you want a less seasonal look. The pattern includes a lace pattern with nice and cozy details.

Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.

(275)275(300)325(350)375(400) g Önling No 2, 100% merino wool, 25 g = approx. 131 yards (120 meters), weight: sport

  • optionally: approx. 25 g / 160 m glitter yarn

Work with one strand throughout the work

Recommended circular needles: size 3 og 3½

Crochet hook for casting on
2 stitch marker
3 meters of contrast yarn

Gauge: 23 stitches and 24 rows i stockinette on needle 3½ = 10 x 10 cm.

Procedure:
The sweater is knitted in the round from the top down. Cast on with crochet temporary stitches so that the size of the neck can be adjusted afterwards. Knit short rows over shoulders and neck at the beginning to give a higher neck. The yoke is knitted with increases. Then the work is divided, and the sleeves and body are finished separately.
