Pay what works
Knitting is not only a creative and relaxing occupation, in times as these it also is invaluable as a sort of therapy, an opportunity to make enriching encounters and come together with other knitters. Last but not least, it’s a wonderful way to make your own sustainable wardrobe.
In order to make my knitting patterns accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation, I now offer a “Pay What Works” scheme. This way, you choose the amount that you feel is accessible for you and use the corresponding coupon code at checkout. The price indicated above is the full price and no coupon code is needed to purchase the pattern at this price. Below are listed two coupon codes with their corresponding final price.

Description
The Provence shawl is a simple triangle shawl, with regular increases on one side only, thus creating an asymmetric shape. The lace pattern grows gradually throughout the shawl, starting with smaller simple eyelets, growing into diagonal lines and finally diamond shaped patterns with bobbles at the center.
As you switch from one lace pattern to the next, you can opt to change to a different colour, as suggested by the pattern, or to stay simply in one colour throughout the pattern. The model shown above measures 160 x 180 cm (63 x 71”), but you can of course adapt it as you wish, by making the colour and pattern blocks shorter or longer, depending on your preference.
Needles & materials:
3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles, 60 - 80 cm (24-32”) in length
tapestry needle
Size
One size (160 x 180 cm)
TENSION/ GAUGE:
10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) = 22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm (US 4) needle
The gauge and needle size used for this pattern are only an indication and don’t need to fit perfectly. Just make sure that the yarn you have chosen works well with a lace pattern, and preferably swatch the yarn beforehand in order to adjust the needle size, if needed, for the best outcome, especially in regards to the lace pattern
