Primeira is the first Top Down Sweater I knitted in my life: I didn’t have any pattern, just a few explanations from Elizabeth Zimmermann Knitter’s Workshop book and some websites. I had just returned from Buenos Aires with 2 skeins of Cashmere + Merino blend and the wish of working this technique. After unravelling a few times, my sweater came out wonderfully - a wide neckline, the measurements were just right and it was quite elegant to wear.

This is the sweater I like to introduce every time someone wants to make their first garment. It is in the round, raglan, easy to knit and most likely to fit!

For this sweater we will learn: working in the round, increases, body percentages, magic loop for sleeves and different kinds of finishing.
