Poppy Cardigan is a soft and airy cardigan with a loose fit and a ruffle at the bottom hem. It is worked back and forth from the top down using 3 strands of Soft Silk Mohair.
The neckline is shaped with short rows before working the yoke and body back and forth. Stitches are picked up for the ruffle which is subsequently shaped with short rows. Sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.

Yarn: 3 strands of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m 246 yd / 25 g 0.9 oz), lace-weight yarn, 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8) balls. Sample is in Soft Silk Mohair in Cloud colorway
Needles: 5 mm / US8 and 6 mm / US10 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 16 sts and 22 rows = 10 cm 4” in st st with 6 mm / US10 needles
Notions: Stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle, 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5) buttons (diameter: 15 mm ½”)
