Pinecone & Mulberry was inspired by the many walks that I take in the pine forest that surrounds my home. Its floor is always covered by moss, a myriad of pinecones and so many berries can be gathered throughout the year.

It features an elegant textured stitch pattern in the middle, and the rest of the hat is worked in garter stitch.
It only requires one (big) skein of a worsted weight yarn.

It would make the perfect project for a beginner that wants to tackle a pattern with interesting and simple texture, or a very quick knit for a more advanced knitter.
