Peninsula Park Circular Scarf
With my new “Cashmere Feel” yarn (a special purchase from Milano Hilados in Buenos Aires) in hand, I sat in Portland’s tranquil treasure, Peninsula Park and Rose Garden, trying to finalize the pattern and name for the scarf I had been visualizing. I stopped looking down at the yarn and gazed out at the serene landscaped terrain straight in front of me. I saw a rose bush with the exact same beautiful colors as those in the yarnadd. The rest came easily.
Peninsula Park Circular Scarf combines two textured slip stitch patterns, one for each of the continents that provided me with inspiration. Perfect for variegated yarns.
This luxurious yarn is just perfect for the winter. And the scrumptiously soft and cuddly cowl feels like a warm caress around the neck.
Sufficient yarn will remain to make a pair of wristlets.
