Hello July! - my birth month - so naturally a favourite! And, I hope you don’t mind, but, for this month’s #freebeefridayknits I’ve taken a small step away from the animals I’ve been created of late - just because - well, who doesn’t love a panda?

This little chap/ chap-ess, I’ve knitted in cotton sport-weight yarn - very simple to knit and the face? - Well I decided on swiss darning (aka duplicate stitch) following a simple chart - but you can, if you wish, embroider the black markings on as I have also done in one of the photos.

You’ll need some small toy/ bear eyes - so, for this reason, I wouldn’t recommend the toy for any small child.

I hope you love him/ her - he/ she is quite a character I can assure you!
