Oxley
HINT: This is not the mathematician of Game #1! (I didn’t know Oxley was a mathematician. NOT a math major!) Keep looking!
Using worsted weight yarn, Oxley cowl starts with stockinette stitch that eases into a repeated lace pattern that makes for a rather airy look and feel to it. Using two coordinating colors, this works well for hand painted or very colorful yarns.
Sample shown was knit up with Delicious Sweets worsted weight yarn that is super squishy and wonderful.
With large needles and thick yarn, you’ll quickly see progress after casting on.
This is a sizable cowl - 17” x 17” after blocking. Don’t worry if it’s a little bigger or a little smaller. What’s important is that you like it and want to wear it, not whether or not it matches the same size as the original sample. Knit it and enjoy it!
