I love fairy tales, especially new variations and seeing how the tales have changed over time. These socks, with cables and twisted stitches, are an interpretation of the twists and turns in those tales.

A cable works its way down the back of the sock, continuing through the heel flap. After picking up the gusset stitches, the cable pattern is converted to a twisted stitch pattern that travels along the foot, eventually running side by side.

Both the cable and twisted stitch patterns are both written and charted.
