This vest was inspired by the Cozy Coat in the Fleisher’s Knitting pattern book dated 1915. It is fitted at the waist but updated for current life styles. There is a neat little I-cord edging with hidden buttonholes, a latter day addition.

Use US needles sizes 6 and 7, size 6 double point for I-cord edging.
You will need 5 buttons.
