These fingerless gloves feature horizontal cables (a technique I invented) in the form of stacked hearts. At the same time, the cables remind me of seamen’s knots and the North Sea is for me a place of holidays and happy memories. Therefore, when my friend Waltraud suggested “Nordseeliebe” (North Sea Love) as a name for these mitts, it fit perfectly!

The mitts are crocheted using slip stiches. You can wear them higher or lower; each of the hearts in the cable works as a thumb hole.

Diese Pulswärmer haben horizontale Zöpfe (eine Technik, die ich erfunden habe) in der Form von ineinandergeschobenen Herzen. Gleichzeitig erinnern mich die Zöpfe an Seemannsknoten und die Nordsee ist für mich ein Ort von Urlaub und Geborgenheit. Als meine Freundin Waltraud also den Namen “Nordseeliebe” vorschlug, passte er perfekt.

Die Pulswärmer werden aus Kettmaschen gehäkelt. Man kann sie höher oder tiefer tragen; die Herzen im Zopf funktionieren alle als Daumenlöcher.
