This lovely and soft bandana cowl is worked sideways from one tip to the other.

The main feature of this little piece is a lattice colorwork that is denser along the bottom border and lighter on the top. The “density” of the lattice is achieved working more or less concentric diamonds inside the main lines of the grid.

The colorwork is knitted using the “filigree” technique: a fun and easy way to knit colorwork and cables together, with a subtle and striking effect at the same time.

The thing that I love most about this design is its versatility: it can be worn in a thousands of ways! As a bandana, of course, but also as a foulard, a headband and even a turban!
