JOIN US FOR A FOURTH INSTALMENT OF NO RHINEBECK? NO PROBLEM!
Once again, it’s that time of the year, leaves are yellow and red and knitting jumps in your lap and wool begs to be bought…I can go on but you see my point!
If you are like me and many others who doesn’t go to Rhinebeck, but have a bit of a FOMO, come and join us again this year for a quick mystery knit!

WHAT IT IS
It’s a cowl worked in light Aran/worsted weight yarn so it’s relatively quick and satisfying!

Now, because it’s a mystery knit, I won’t be divulging too much detail but here is what you CAN expect:

  • mindless stitches
  • interesting construction
  • no long cast on and long bind off!

Here is what you will NOT get:

  • no short rows
  • no cables or lace
  • no colorwork of any kind
  • no seaming!

Speaking of yarn…..read below!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Yarn
325- 375 yards of light Aran/ Worsted weight yarn of your choice.
In terms of color, variagated, marls, zebra, tonals and self repeating yarns would look great as well as solids. if you have that gorgeous marled yarn you bought but don’t know what to do with? This is what it’s for!

Some suggested yarns are:

  • Peace Fleece Worsted Weight
  • Ella Rae Superwash Classic Wool
  • Patons North America Classic Wool Worsted
  • Malabrigo Yarn Rios
  • Berroco Ultra Alpaca
  • Spincycle Yarns Dream State
  • Dundaga Wool 6/2
  • Any fingering yarn + silk mohair

I made one of my samples from fingering weight yarn held together with mohair so you can do that too to get the desired gauge.

Four markers (one removable), tapestry needle
