Double knitting may sound daunting, but it’s a lot like working ribbing, and once you get the hang of it, you may appreciate how much easier it is to work than complex colorwork. Because you are always working with both colors every two stitches, this method is perfect for stitch patterns that would otherwise require managing long floats or working in intarsia.
