The design:

Nestling Easter Egg Cup is a large decorative ‘egg cup’ to fit 100-120gm Chocolate Easter eggs. Pop the egg in still wrapped in it’s foil or if you make your own put the cupped egg in a cellophane bag for a cute personalised gift. The egg cup also fits some stemless wine glasses for a recycled use

Materials needed:
Nestling Easter Egg Cup was b using a 4ply/weight 2/fingering weight yarn. Meterage used was approximately 60 m/66 yrds
The design measures 7cm/2.7” tall and 8cm/3.1” diameter across the opening. Please note conversion from m/cm to yards/inches is approx
Stitch markers
Wool/darning needle
Gauge: rounds 1-3 = 6cm/2.4” unblocked and measured single crochet to single crochet
Recommended Hook size:
3 mm
Or hook needed to obtain gauge

pm: Place marker
dc: Double crochet
sc: Single crochet
bpsc: Work a sc around the back post of the dc below
ch: Chain
skp: Skip stitch
sl st: Slip stitch
ch-sp: Chain space
V st: dc1, ch2, dc1 in the same stitch
