Nancy is a loose cardigan knitted seamlessly from the top-down. It’s designed to be both elegant and comfortable. There’s an all over subtle cable pattern on the body and the sleeves. The fronts are finished in a minimalistic way with i-cords. Nancy is the name of my mother. This cardigan is inspired by an oversized mohair sweater that she knitted herself in the late 80’s.

18 sts and 24 rows = 4 x 4’’ / 10 x 10 cm in cable pattern knitted with 5 mm / US 8 needles, after blocking.

Nancy est un cardigan ample qui se tricote du haut vers le bas, sans couture. Un simple point de torsades recouvre l’entièreté du chandail. Il est conçu pour être à la fois élégant et confortable. Les devants sont finis d’une manière minimaliste avec un « i-cord » qui se tricote en même temps que le reste du corps. Nancy, c’est le nom de ma mère. L’inspiration de ce cardigan me vient d’un chandail ample en mohair qu’elle avait elle-même tricoté à la fin des années 80.
