Sometimes small things can make a difference.

MUUTOS (Finnish for Change) has this little extra that you don’t expect at first sight. It is the cuffs that generate a fancier look and add this certain hint of elegance. Without them, MUUTOS is a simple and still nice cardigan with a small pattern of knits & purls at the circular yoke, with a crew-neck, some waist-shaping and fitted sleeves. Even if you usually prefer casual garments with a clean and simple look without any ruffles and chichi, MUUTOS gives you the opportunity to explore your more playful side.

MUUTOS is worked seamlessly from the top down. The construction of the upper body is a hybrid of a circular yoke and raglan shoulders.
Starting with the neckband, you continue working the circular yoke (a stitch pattern of knits and purls) first. Then, the neck back shaping is worked using short rows and you continue with raglan increases until the body and sleeves are to be separated. After having body and sleeves finished separately, stitches along the edges of the fronts are picked up for the button (hole) band.

Manchmal sind es die kleinen Dinge, die den Unterschied ausmachen.
MUUTOS (finnisch für Veränderung) hat dieses kleine Extra, das man auf den ersten Blick nicht erwartet. Es sind die auffallenden Ärmelabschlüsse, die der Jacke einen Hauch von Extravaganz geben. Ohne sie ist MUUTOS eine einfache und dennoch schöne Strickjacke mit einem kleinen Muster aus rechten & linken Maschen an der Rundpasse, mit Rundhalsausschnitt, leicht tailliert und mit schmalen Ärmeln. Auch wenn du normalerweise eher legere Kleidungsstücke mit einem sauberen und einfachen Look ohne Rüschen und Chichi bevorzugst, gibt dir MUUTOS die Möglichkeit, deine spielerische Seite zu entdecken.
MUUTOS ist nahtlos von oben nach unten gearbeitet. Die Schulterkonstruktion besteht aus einer Mischung von Rundpasse und Raglanschnitt.
Begonnen wird am Halsbündchen, an das sich das Rundpassenmuster aus rechten und linken Maschen anschließt. Nach einigen verkürzten Reihen werden Raglanzunahmen bis zur Ärmelabtrennung gearbeitet. Nachdem Fertigstellung von Rumpf und Ärmeln werden die Maschen entlang der Kanten der Vorderteile für die Knopfleiste aufgenommen und die Blenden gearbeitet.
