This pattern is for a bath mat made made using just one cake of blanket yarn. The texture is squishy and soft, like moss. PLEASE NOTE The end result typically has less grip than a regular bath mat, so please exercise caution when deciding when and where to use your bath mat, as it may be more prone to slipping.

The pattern is designed to be beginner friendly and adjustable. It could easily be worked into a bigger towel with more than one cake, or turned into a hand towel or face washer using less than one cake. A chart for the pattern is located on the final page.

The pattern recommends using an 8mm hook, however this is a guide only and can be scaled up or down depending on your tension.

This pattern uses US crochet terminology. The following stitches are used:
Ch - Chain Stitch
SS - Slip Stitch
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
