This shawl has been a long time coming. Somehow it’s been sitting around waiting for photos and the finishing touches to be added, but it’s finally here. This lace, crescent-shaped shawl is worked sideways on the bias and can be adjusted to a variety of yardages based on the percentages outlined in the pattern. One skein of sock yarn will create a small shawlette, and more than one skein can make a large shawl. The pattern features both written and charted instructions, it is easily memorized and works up quickly for a soothing knit. It also looks great in solid/semi-solid yarns, slightly variegated yarns and gradients.

The sample shown was knit using one and a half skeins of Hazelknits Artisan Sock (about 600 yards), measures about 13” deep at its deepest point and about 38” from center point to tip.
