This design is inspired by “Mayfield,” by Lisa Richardson in Rowan Magazine No. 64. It has been modified to require less yarn and be worked in the round. We have also provided a chart, which tells you when to change color and makes it easy to keep track of where you are.

The colorwork is achieved through slipped stitches, so you are working with only one color at a time.
