Millicent a sweet feminine name that combines the mild and the innocent means “strong in work”. I feel it is the perfect name for this pullover because you have the mild, easy stockinette and garter stitch combination in the body with the strong cable knit on border. With a few adjustments this pullover could be worked on the round with out the cross over.

Notes:
This sweater is a compound raglan constructed from the top down in one piece. This style allows for a more flattering fit because the rate of increase varies, thus more accurately following the shape of the body. It increases more rapidly between the neck and shoulders and at the end to curve around the underarm, but more gradually in the section in between.
The pullover is designed for the backs to overlap. How much it is overlapped is somewhat adjustable. A knitted-on border is added along back edges and bottom of sweater.
The body shaping is worked by increasing 1 stitch in each of 4 Garter stitch columns. If you want more room in the hip area, you may work them more often, but be sure to allow for more yarn.
The sleeves and body can easily be lengthened by adding more rows.
The yarn is worked at a slightly looser gauge to enhance drape
