A US 1 1⁄2 (2.50 mm) 16” / 40 cm (or longer needle) for picking up stitches from the initial I-Cord
2 US 2 1⁄2 (3.00 mm) DPNs for the initial I-Cord
1 US 1 1⁄2 (2.50 mm) DPN for I-Cord BO (as if often tends to be on the loose side)
A US C/2 (2.75mm) crochet hook (for Crochet provisional cast on)

Gauge (after blocking)
32 stitches & 50 rows = 4” / 10cm in mosaic pattern with US 4 (3.50 mm) needle

Stitch marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn

Note
First knit a striped I-Cord and join CO sts and the end. Then pick up stitches and knit in the round.
The upper edge is bind off using a matching striped I-Cord BO.
Take care when changing the yarns to carry the unused color above the working yarn to hide it inside the I-Cord and when picking up the stitches for the cowl. As you change colors keep an eye on your tension.

Note
まずI-Cordでストライプを作り輪にしたあと、そこから目を拾い輪で編む。編み終わりは模様に合わせてストライプでI-Cord BO。
I-Cordから目を拾う際、糸の色替えで使用しない糸をI-Cordの内側に隠すように編む。色替えの際に糸のテンションに気をつけるようにする。
