Pattern notes
This shrug begins by knitting a large, long rectangle, following the charted slipped-stitch motif, and working back and forth. The rectangle is then turned on its side and folded into an envelope, which, when joined with a three-needle bind off, allows the back and sleeve openings to form. Edging stitches are picked up all around the front opening, and worked in the round in garter stitch. To complete the shrug, two cuffs are picked up around the sleeve openings, and worked downwards, in the round.
