First pattern in my fourth shawl collection - Elements.

Metallurgy, the study of metals. Something about this stitch pattern/yarn made me think of iron and metalwork. This shawl is worked from the center out in three garter stitch “wedges”, the lacy border is worked sideways, joining the body of the shawl as you go. Worked entirely in one piece, with no seaming necessary! The pattern is written for the recommended yarn, but it can easily be up- or down-sized. Essentially, you are going to need half of your yardage to work the edging, so work the body until your desired size and/or you are halfway through your yardage, then start the border.

All patterns in the collection will include both written and charted instructions.
