This little Matryoshka doll is a quick toy knitting project and could be used as a pincushion, or simply to decorate your home.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the doll is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the headscarf chinstrap is a single crochet chain worked on the crochet hook.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads for eyes, and a 3.75mm crochet hook.

SIZES
One size only - 14.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
