You need to know how to

cast on
knit and purl
knit two together (k2tog)
slip, slip, knit (ssk)
sl1wyib = slip one stitch purl wise with the yarn at the back of your work
sl2wyib = slip two stitches purl wise with the yarn at the back of your work
sl1wyif = slip one stitch purl wise with the yarn at the front of your work
sl2wyif = slip two stitches purl wise with the yarn at the front of your work
sl1b = slip one stitch back to your left needle from your right needle, purl wise

Materials Needed
Yarn:Bulky Weight or Level 5 yarn, I used Woolspun, but Color Made Easy is a good substitute Aprox. 90 yards
Needles: 16” Circular needles in US10 1/2 (6.5mm) and US11 (8.0mm) and US11 (8.0mm) double pointed needles
Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch marker

Please note that the gauge swatch is done in the diagonal stitch, instructions for a gauge swatch is included.
