Maple Foliage Cardigan
I designed this cardigan for my daughter, inspired by our beautiful hikes in Vermont’s Green Mountains during the fall.
Maple Foliage Cardigan is knitted bottom-up, flat in rows, using a simple drop-shoulder construction. The body is decorated with a lace stitch in the shape of a maple leaf, featuring yarn-overs as the body of the leaf and purl stitches forming the stem.
