Makige is a scarf or shawl worked in Ito Tsuchi and Shio. This is Sequence Knitting: an easy to work 1-row pattern that results in a reversible and complex fabric. The slow color changes in the yarns do the hard work.

The sizes of the samples are 7 x 75 in (18 x 190 cm) and 14 x 80 in (36 x 203 cm), and it is easy to adjust the width and length.
