Machu Picchu Earflap Hat
This Peruvian inspired earflap hat features a unique, new cast-on technique and Andean patterns worked in fair isle. This is a great pattern for learning fair isle color work.
Materials:
Small Adult:
1 Skein Alpaca with a Twist Big Baby (82 yds) #0095 Embers (main color-mc)
1 Skein Alpaca with a Twist Big Baby (82 yds) #1016 Kentucky Blue (contrast color-cc)
Medium/Large Adult:
1 Skein Alpaca with a Twist Big Baby (82 yds) #0095 Embers (main color-mc)
1 Skein Alpaca with a Twist Big Baby (82 yds) #3003 Carnival Red(contrast color-cc)
1 16” circular needle, size US 10 (6.0 mm) and 4 double pointed needles (dpns), Size US 10 (6.0 mm) or 2 16” circular needles, size US 10 (6.0 mm)
1 Size I or J Crochet Hook
