March Hat of the Month Pattern

Lucky Green Slouch Hat

Pretty puff stitches add soft texture to pretty slouch hat.

Simple crochet stitches were used in the design.

For this project I used light Medium Weight Yarn 4 and a 5 mm (H) crochet hook for the main hat. The hat band was crocheted using a 4 mm (G) hook.

Gauge with 5 mm (H) hook:
Approximately 13 dc stitches per 4 inches and 8 rows dc per 4 inches.

Gauge with 4 mm (G) hook:
Approximately 5 stitches per 1 inch and 16 rows per 4 inches.

The pattern includes sizes Preemie, Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, Small Child (3-5 years), Child (6-10 years), Teen (adult small), Adult Medium + Adult Large.

The stitch multiple is 2 +1.

The matching scarf pattern is also available.

This pattern is available for free on my blog which is monetized by ads. If you prefer an ad-free version of the pattern, it is available to purchase right here on Ravelry.
