Lotus Flower shawlette is a simpler version of the Lotus Challenge. The lotus flower rises from the muddy water to create a beautiful and pure flower, a metaphor for the ability to rise above a bad situation or to make something beautiful amid unfavorable circumstances.

If you are already familiar with stacked increases and decreases, this pattern is a great way to explore their potential for creating intricate shapes and colorwork without stranding or intarsia.
