Based on the adult Highspire Cardigan, the Little Highspire Cardigan is a roomy, v-neck cardigan that suits both little girls and little boys.

Sized from 3-6 months through 6 years, it features the same details as the larger version: twisted rib, waffle stitch, and a wide rib on the back.

It is worked flat in pieces and seamed. Using worsted weight yarn, this works up quickly.

You will need:

• 440 (440, 440) (660, 660, 660) yards of worsted weight yarn.
• US size 7 (4.5mm) for body and sleeves
• US size 5 (3.75mm) for ribbing
• Four removable stitch markers
• Four 5/8” buttons
• Yarn needle

The pattern was written for Cloudborn Fibers Superwash Merino Worsted Twist which is in 221 yard skeins: varying amounts of 2 and 3 skeins were used. If you have leftover yarn, you can always make a cute little hat to go with the sweater.
