I love Grand Marais and the Gunflint Trail near Lake Superior in Minnesota – my husband and I have vacationed there often. Eagle Mountain (the park chosen for BE @ Lakeside Yarn Shop in Excelsior, MN for this year’s shop hop) is in the Superior National Forest and is stunningly gorgeous.

We like to hike and fish and relax in this pristine wilderness and the top of Eagle Mountain, at 2301 feet, is the highest point in Minnesota.
