This easy and quick-working pattern was created with an idea to make cables, but avoid the post stich (which I loathe)! :)
This is my variation on a “faux-cable”.

Don’t let the special stitch scare you off - its VERY simple and there is a photo tutorial included. :)

The pattern repeat is extremely simple and you’ll memorize it in no time.

You can easily change the size of this block to suit your needs, and it works up in no time, with scraps you already have, or in a specific color scheme.
