The Sexy Shrug is not your average shoulder warmer. It is guaranteed to garner lots of compliments of the “ooh” and “ah” variety. This lace stitch is a show stopper! Worked with only a 14-row repeat it is not too much of a brainteaser. Once the lace is done, which is really only a rectangle, no shaping necessary, the stitches are picked up around the front and the arms to finish off the garment with a ribbing stitch. The ribbing is both comfortable to wear and gives the shrug a nice shape. The Dream in Colour Classy is an excellent choice for this garment, as it holds it’s shape very well, but any heavy worsted weight will do. Look for something with a gauge of 16-18sts per 10cm/4” in stocking stitch.
