Lucy is the heroine of book 8, “On the Way to the Wedding.” She is definitely a Lucy, not a Lucinda. Her socks are inspired by the twists and turns of her complicated journey to the alter and the rope that ends up playing an important part.

The socks are worked top down with a cabled column and lace ribbing. The lace ribbing flows into the heel flap while the cables continue down the foot culminating in a patterned toe.

Pattern includes directions to mirror the second sock.

Cable patterns are both charted and written. Toe is written only to allow for differences in foot length.
