K’plunk the game that this shawl takes its inspiration from requires a steady hand, quick judgement and a willingness for risk. This pattern takes a mitred diamond, flips it and starts creating the direction of the pattern from there. The shawl starts nice and simple with stockinette then has small sections of lace which represent the marbles, with short rows and colourwork at the centre to represent the
straws.

The nature of this shawl allows you to keep track of your progress in a visual way as it is sectioned and uses striping to break up the pattern. This a great pattern for using up your scraps as each section can be different colours. Resulting in a diamond shape that is very versatile to wear. Can be worn as a scarf, a wrap or positioned like a cowl.
