Korshavn Cardigan
Korshavn Cardigan is worked bottom up in basket pattern according the chart. First, the body is worked up to the armhole opening, where it is divided into front and back and both pieces are finished separately. At the front, decreases are worked to shape the v-neck. The shoulders are knit together with the 3 needle bind off. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole opening and are worked without decreases. Right before the ribbed cuffs, you decrease the number of stitches, which create a simple, yet feminine look. Across the front edges, stitches are picked up for the button band. The button holes are placed on the right, the buttons on the left front band.
Please check the stated measurements and size guide for your correct size. Get familiar with the chart before you start knitting. Remember to knit a gauge swatch first. Take measurements of your gauge swatch after washing and blocking. Adjust the needle size, if necessary.
