This design was requested from a member in my group. When she suggested this knot style bag I knew I had to design one with a fun stitch combination. I see this design as a “make one just for me” pattern! Many crocheters never crochet anything for themselves, but this project was designed just for you <3

Made in a worsted weight yarn the Knot Your Average Bag works up with about 400 yards of your favorite yarn and a crochet hook H (5.00 mm). You can easily adjust the length of the long strap to make short for a wristlet, crochet it a medium length for the one in my photos or crochet it extra long to drape as a cross body bag! The options are endless.

The bag closure is designed in the bag. Simply pull the long strap through the short strap and it naturally closes up nicely and opens easily. Designed for a great day bag! I hope you enjoy this fun design from Sweet Potato 3.
