I had this idea to keep track of stitch markers and a small scissor the same way you keep track of your keys. Put them on a long string. Hopefully, you can throw this lanyard into your project bag and put it on while you attend knitting group or are sitting on the couch at home, perhaps in your rocker recliner? It’ll hold all the little things you might need in a pinch. The lanyard comes in three sizes, one for your wrist, to maybe hold your keys, and 2 necklace lengths, short and long. Choose your favorite or make all three and throw them in every purse and project bag you own. Maybe make one for a friend and buy them some cute stitch markers or a tiny scissors too!

NOTE: All colorwork has been charted and each word is worked from right to left and from the bottom to the top. This project can be knit using 2-4 colors – feel free to mix and match your word stripes to suit your color preferences. Wristlet and medium blue samples were knit in Jill Draper Makes Stuff Mohonk (sport weight, 370 yds/338m = 4 oz/113 grams 100% Lamb’s wool woolen spun)
Wristlet sample used colorways: Bone and Trillium weighed 11 g and used 36 yds/33M.
Medium sample used colorways: Navy and Pale Lapis and weighed 26 g and used 85 yds/78m.
Long sample was knit in Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport and used colorways 142S Spiced Plum and 502S Magenta weighed 32 g and used 117 yds/107 m.

Recommended total yardage amounts used: wristlet 50 yds; Medium 115 yds; Long 150 yds.
